| so if anyone has some good suggestions, i'm totally open :)
cfc summer school has started and it is pure madness! cooking for a zillion kids is rough. esp. when you have 6 hug tins of lettuce left over and they don't eat veggies... :)
battle scars: 1. oven burn on my knee. i know, can u believe it? i was squatting while stirring the taco meat and i wasn't careful. how silly.
BUT i must say that everyone is sooo super helpful and supportive. there are a ton of ppl helping in the kitchen and it's so nice to meet new ppl.
come join us if you have time! 9am-1pm every day in wesley kitchen :)

| dude. i totally have a final due on thurs. and i can't get myself to write it! ahhhhhhh
i would rather play mahjong with my family, lose to my bro in darts (as i miss the target and stick them in the wall-oops!)
and i would rather tell you about track and field day :) this is my home room class....we were red. this is their tough picture, hehe, so cute!

can u find me? hehehe, i know i blend in...this is our "silly" picture.
so the last event of the day was a 4X100m relay. and of course, being the competitive teacher i am, i found 3 other co-workers to run the race with me against the 6th grade boys. the 1st 2 legs, the teachers kept up with those lil 6th grade boys and then on the 3rd leg, my rotc special ed teacher totally took over and smoked her competition. so going into the the last leg, i had a lead and i was NOT about to lose to 6th graders!
so i booked it and it was so fun cuz we won!! even though i was sore for 3 days afterwards, it was so worth it. the next day ALL the kids were like, "whoa, miss liang, u are sooooo fast! i never knew" muahha. i love teaching middle school!
